New Release – Heshayol The Blood of Dragons Book 2

Hi everyone I’m happy today to help the spread the word of Joshua Robertson and J.C. Boyd’s new release,

Heshayol The Blood of Dragons Book 2

Over a millennium ago, at their father’s command, Tyran and Drast sent the Horned God to the Netherworld in hopes of gaining everlasting life. Instead, they sparked a chain of events that led to the near destruction of the Ash Tree and the liberation of the old gods. Now, with the world waning, the two brothers are freed from Anaerfell to travel to the frozen realm of the dead and resurrect their enemy with hopes of restoring balance. Tyran and Drast journey between time and space with limitless magic at their fingertips to face demon legions, forsaken immortals, and the realization that the malevolence of their father is not yet done.

They knew killing a dragon wasn’t going to be easy. Especially not one that was also a god. But they never expected to be punished so brutally, or for so long. Death is no escape when you’ve already slain the Horned God to the Netherworld.

New Release – The Great Bobbert

BobbertPBCoverFront

I’m excited to present the first of new series of Stories from P.A.W.S. for little ones. Each one will feature some of the more colorful side characters from the P.A.W.S. And here’s number one.

The Great Bobbert is a rather silly clown that can often be seen strolling through Forest Park in St. Louis with his pet weasel, Popgoes, perched upon his hat. In this short tale suitable for Kindergarten and up, Popgoes has gone missing and may just have made a new friend.

Available on Amazon in paperback and Kindle.

3 New Anthology Releases!

Hi everyone, sorry I haven’t been on here much recently. I spent much of October traveling with my daughter to Israel (to see my mother) and London (to hang out with friends). It was fun and exhausting and now I’m back and have some news.

While I was away this happened:

13 Candles is a collection of 13 never-before-published Halloween-themed short stories by 13 YA authors. My story, The Costume, is loosely set in my P.A.W.S. universe and features Miri’s childhood friend, Jenny. 50% of all proceeds from the sales of this anthology with be donated to Global Giving, an international organization that provides funds directly to local charities in communities that need it most.

Pick up your copy today in paperback or Kindle or read for free on Kindle Unlimited.

But wait there’s more yesterday saw the release of not one, but two more anthologies that include stories by me.

The first is book 3 of the Sins of Time series, that included Sins of the Past and Sins of the Future.  I am both the editor and a contributor to each of these volumes. Our new volume Sins of the Gods features horror stories of mythology. My own tale, Shades of Black, is a cautionary tale about why it’s not a great idea to get on the wrong side of Gaea.

Cecilia’s Tale

Hi everyone. A lot seems to be happening at once of late. I have another new release. Cecilia’s Tale started it’s life as a little story on a blog, Cici’s Place, I ran many years ago. The story was inspired by my real-life kitty, Cecilia T. Cat (or Cici for short) who found me and adopted me while I was living in Israel.

Cecilia’s Tale is now available on Amazon in paperback and Kindle. It includes illustrations from a wonderful local artist and friend, Victoria Szulc.

I’m really excited today because I get to reveal the brand new awesome cover for the next book in my P.A.W.S. Saga, LONDINIUM.  The cover was created by the hugely talented Rachel Bostwick who also made the cover for my new box set of books 1 to 3 that are now available on Amazon.

So here goes – drum roll please – LONDINIUM (The P.A.W.S. Saga 4), on presale now.

londinium

“The pea soup has spoken,” said Caradog. “You are destined for Londinium.”
“Londinium?” asked Miri.
“It was the ancient city from which London sprang. The P.A.W.S. Institute of Londinium is the oldest in the world. It started before the city of today existed and straddles the old and the new. Unfortunately, today it is run by a fool.”

Join Miri as she continues her journey through Umbrae and Londinium with the help of werecats, wild warlocks, an old dog, a duck, and a whole lot of pea soup.

The P.A.W.S. Saga continues with Londinium.

Need to catch up?

You can do that all in one place with a brand new box set of books 1 to 3. Now available on Amazon.

Excerpt

Kado closed the distance between us. “Auren, I’m taking you from this place. You can either come or your own free will or by force.”

Tamir tensed next to me. I held my hand up to stall whatever he was planning. I didn’t need this turning into a fight, especially in front of Jade. Physically she was healing well, but her mind was still fragile.

“If I go with you—“

“If?” Kado arched an eyebrow.

“’If’ I go with you, we have to take Jade as well, and you have to promise me you’ll return her to Deakan on Appolia before we return to the Dark Isle.”

“It’s not possible, Auren. You can give birth any day now. Makari will keep Jade safe for the time being.”

Jade grabbed tightly onto my arm.

I stood my ground. “I won’t leave without her.”
