S is for School and a Sheep – Blogging from A to Z

Hi Everyone,

Adana here! It’s SATURDAY and I’m really excited. You see today Debbie is going to read my story at a bookstore in St. Louis.

Debbie will be at THE NOVEL NEIGHBOR from 10:30 to 11:30 am this morning for storytime. If you live in St. Louis come on by. You’ll be able to pick up a signed copy of my book, ADANA THE EARTH DRAGON and the companion Coloring and Activity Book.

Now on to the letter S – today we are featuring three books in our picture books from A to Z. First up meet Charlie Chameleon who is going to SCHOOL.

Readers first met Charlie and his bossy pet fish, Frankie,  in The Adventures of Charlie Chameleon: New Beginnings back in 2015. Now Charlie is back in a new adventure where he is taking the big step of going to school.

In this second in a series of humorous multicultural books, Charlie Chameleon and his friends are having trouble with Boris Bunny, the class bully. Charlie thinks Boris is putting on an act, but his friends disagree. Follow Charlie’s adventures as he helps Boris learn how to be a friend. Fans of the Arthur the Aardvark series will enjoy the antics of the characters in The Adventures of Charlie Chameleon: School Days. Even bullies can be bullied—who knew!

Pick up your copy of The Adventures of Charlie Chameleon: School Days by Ellen L. Buikema with illustrations by Elizabeth Engel from Amazon in Kindle or paperback.

Next up is a book that Debbie edited, STANLEY & HALF-PINT written and illustrated by Elizabeth Bullock.

This is a short novel based on a true story. Stanley (a horse) and Half-Pint (a ram) are the title characters and narrators of the tale.
Together, they tell their story of friendship, life’s experiences and their view of the world today.

Pick up a copy on Amazon in Kindle or Paperback.

Come back tomorrow for a special day, release day post for my book, ADANA THE EARTH DRAGON!

Good night,
